About Uncle Andy (Andrew Hoffland)

A primary and middle school teacher for 20 years, in Darjeeling, Nagaland, Dubai and Delhi, Andrew Hoffland has been singing and acting since he was 7 years old in various theatrical and musical productions. He has lived in China, Russia and the U.K. as a child and youth, and draws upon this treasure trove of life experience in all that he does.

He left full time teaching 7 years back and is currently a freelance voiceover artist and actor. He assists Mr. George Pulinkala (of the former erstwhile Delhi Music Theatre) in the production and direction of Broadway musicals in educational institutions by preparing the actors. He is acting in a play called 'Taramandal', that won an award for the most original script for 2010 and 'Salaam India' that has toured India, Oman and the US. He enjoys working with children, training them for speech and elocution, choirs and school performances. Uncle Andy, as he is known, loves the stage!
