Anastasia is an illustrator, visual communication designer, musician, compulsive tea drinker and theatre lover.
Her latest book is ‘She Can, You Can’ published by Harper Collins Children’s books India. Anastasia likes to make books that are interactive and have a visually unconventional flow to it. Her style is extremely fluid yet bold.
Anastasia graduated from Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune with a degree in communication design and now enjoys illustrating across mediums with children’s books as her first love. She has illustrated numerous educational books and mobile applications with Ed-tech companies, such as ‘Stones2milestones’, that strives to build the will and skill to read in children. She has partnered with authors to illustrate children’s books, she has also illustrated various book cover designs, artwork for website applications and prints for children’s apparel and textiles.
Anastasia has been surrounded by a family environment of theatre, music and dance and has played the piano since the age of five. She strongly believes that when music, theatre and art come together the outcome can change the world!
Today she enjoys switching between the piano, violin and a tiny purple ukulele. She combines her quirky music with live doodling and impromptu acting to create captivating sessions and workshops for children of all ages.
Anastasia has held motivational sessions for children at various schools, bookstores and literature festivals. She hopes to help as many children as possible, to realise that ‘you can live your dreams if you just wake up and try!’
