When I illustrate for children, I’ve come to realise, I’m my own target audience – both as an adult and with my remembered worldview from when I was a child. I think that helps me not presume that I know what children want to see and will enjoy. Instead I try to lead them into the way I see and what I enjoy. I think that brings in a certain honesty in my work. Aniruddha Mukherjee
