Jayshree Misra Tripathi is an 'arranger of words', of narrative verse and short fiction.

Her late husband was a career diplomat. She has been a nomadic teacher since 1983 and taught overseas - across three continents, in diverse cultures - wherever vacancies existed and were permissible, spanning 30 years.

Jayshree has taught all age groups - from pre-school through high school and adults. She received a Master of Arts Degree in English (Literature) from Delhi University in 1978 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Law, (Distance Education Programme), from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, in 2001. She worked briefly in the print media in the 1980s and has been an examiner in English for the IBO’s International Baccalaureate Diploma and their trained Consultant.

 

Her interests include human rights for all and world 'news and views'. She considers herself to be a constant learner. Her recent works have appeared on Huffington Post India Blogs & News18 Blogs. Published works include: "The Sorrow of Unanswered Questions" (2001 International Centre for Ethnic Studies, Colombo, Sri Lanka); Dilemmas and Scattered Weaves: Musings in Narrative Verse, Flash Vignettes of Travels through the Diaspora" (2014 Quills Publishing); “Tales in Verse from India for Children Everywhere" Vols. 1&2 (2014,Pothi).
