Former English teacher Sreelatha Radhakrishnan started writing for children after watching her grandchildren lap up stories on her visits abroad. She finds telling stories hugely rewarding.
Kerala based K. P. Muraleedharan is a multifaceted illustrator who has worked for several years in the well-known Malayalam weekly Mathrubhoomi, and as a designer in Toonz Animation. After A Kite Called Korika, Appaka is his second book with Tulika. He won Kerala’s Balasahitya Puraskaram in 2011.
