Poile Sengupta is a well known writer for children. She has written several picture books and other books for young adults, and ran a humour column for children in the Children’s World magazine for over three decades. She is also a poet, playwright and novelist for adults.

Greystroke is an illustrator and designer who has been illustrating ever since he can remember. He is a self-taught artist with a flair for humorous illustration, whose work has won several awards. He published the children’s magazine Chatterbox with his friends for many years and was the cartoonist for the Indian Review of Books. Apart from illustrating, he also writes and makes films.
