Stories from Indian mythology are woven together and sung by Award winner and celebrated film and theatre personality padmabhushan Girish Karnataka, who plays the role of karadi, the bear and sootradhar. The script, lyrics and direction is by Shobha 'viswanath.
Shobha Viswanath is the creator of the Karadi Tales series for which she has written over twenty-five books, including The Blue Jackal, which won a Special Mention in the prestigious White Ravens catalogue 2006. Her other books are A Skyful of Stories and The Proud Story. Shobha lives in Chennai.
