Little Giraffe

Star-spotted Little Giraffe could barely reach the leaves on the lowest branches. She was the shortest one among her family and friends and she was not happy about it all. Since she wanted to grow taller immediately, she decided to measure her height every day. Meanwhile, the forest had a few surprises in store for her. About the author: Yasemin Temizarabaci Yildirmaz studied environmental engineering and did a master’s in women studies. She wrote her first novel in 2005. Yasmin has worked wwith film festivals for several years and currently volunteers at the International Children’s Rights Film Festival. She lives in Istanbul with her family and a fabulous cat.

About the Illustrator: Ece Zeber is a graduate of the Anadolu University Animation Department. She has been a creative force in various animation studios as an animator, concept artist, and character and background designer. Having illustrated over 30 exciting picture books, novels, and activity books with global publishers, Ece is now a freelance book artist and is cooking up some fantastic children’s books of her own.
