Shobha Viswanath is the creator of the Karadi Tales series for which she has written over twenty-five books, including The Blue Jackal, which won a Special Mention in the prestigious White Ravens catalogue 2006. Her other books are A Skyful of Stories and The Proud Story. Shobha lives in Chennai.
