Malavika Shetty currently teaches at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, but she loves travelling every mango season with her family to Katapadi, her village near Udipi, to enjoy her favourite fruit, the mango.
Born in Kolkata, India, Ajanta graduated from Delhi College of Art in 1995. Her illustrations for childrenâ??s books have appeared in various publications across India. She received a Certificate of Honour for illustration at the International Board on Books for Young People in 2002. In 2014, Bookaroo India displayed her work under the banner of 10 popular illustrators of India. Hidden, a picture book, received second prize in a Children's book trust competition in 2019.
